Suntory PepsiCo Beverage (Thailand) Co., Ltd., the manufacturer and distributor of beverages under Suntory and PepsiCo brands in Thailand led by Mr. Ashish Joshi, middle right, CEO, has partnered with CP All PLC., led by Mr. Yuthasak Poomsurakul, middle left, Managing Director (co.) and launched a PET bottle recycling machine (ReFun Machine) under the “Give Back Bottle for Recycle” project in front of the 7-Eleven store at CP Tower, Silom. The project aims to promote the sustainable use of plastic packaging, stimulate recognition of the value of recyclable waste, and encourage consumers to proper waste segregation especially PET bottles, leading to reduction of plastic waste and creating value added. In the first phase, the ReFun Machines will be installed at ten 7-Eleven stores around Bangkok and Metropolitan areas.
