Nimitz Modrakee | Chairman of the Board       

Mr. Nimitz founded 124 Communications two decades ago after a 16-year stint with IBM Thailand in many management roles including director of corporate communications, branch manager, manager of marketing operations, and manager of IBM scientific programs. He is Thailand’s best-known PR specialist with in-depth experience in all areas of this business. Aside from managing public and private clients and handling all aspects of public relations and corporate communications activities, he has also helped formulate political campaign strategies for the current administration
 
Mr. Nimitz has counseled clients in Telecom, Information Technology, Finance, Banking, Manufacturing, Healthcare as well as those in the public sector and airlines. He was also a management consultant to the National Science and Technology Development Board, a national government think-tank under the Science and Technology Ministry. Another important role has been to serve as the Chief Consulting Officer to the Telephone Organization of Thailand, Port Authority of Thailand and Airports of Thailand.     
 
Mr. Nimitz has also given lectures in marketing and advanced communications as well as conducting the same courses at postgraduate colleges of Chulalongkorn and Thammasat universities, which are Thailand’s oldest and best-known institutions of higher education. Aside from this he has his own IT and telecom news columns in two respected Thai publications, Telecom Journal and Manager Daily.
 
He is also an instructor at National Naval Academy as well as serving as a sub-committee on Environment for the Senate of Thailand.
 
He received a B.Sc degree majoring in physics from the University of Philippines, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, and a Ph.D in Communications from Hill University

Sopawadee Chanthaworn | Managing Director

Sopawadee was appointed Managing Director in November 2004. She is the company’s in-house-developed executive who worked her way up from Marketing Communication Specialist level to the current senior appointment. Previously she was Senior Client Services Director. She has over 15 years of experience serving clients in banking and finance, real estate, lifestyle, telecom, government, transport and the public sector among others.

After obtaining her Bachelor's Degree from Thammasat University's Liberal Arts Faculty, Sopawadee went to California State University at Fullerton for her Master’s degree, majoring in Public Relations. She also attended a number of professional training in Asia, Europe, as well as attending a high level Marketing and Strategic Communications course from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania
 
Her philosophy exemplifies the fast changing world of business in the information age, where she is committed to continue to invest in honing up her skills, and fine-tuning them with the latest industrial thinking and prevailing tendencies.  Her experience typifies the human resource policy of the firm-that the knowledge based must be up-dated to the forefront of the industry, to serve clients well.
 
She is a member of the Board of Directors and Management Committee. She also teaches Mass Communications at Sri Pratum University

Kanyamas Maleetavonkul| Chief Financial Officer

Kanyamas brings over 15 years of professional experience in financial services and serves a key responsible executive for our smooth and successful  IPO preparation in 2004

Kanyamas graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Xavier University in Ohio, USA.

She brings a wealth of financial expertise 124 and as importantly “good corporate governance”. This ensures that our clients can expect professional conduct and world class business relations, with 124 Communications.

She is a member of the Board of Directors and Management Committee.

Manila Ladavalya na Ayudhya | Chief Operating Officer

After spending 12 years living in the United States, Manila returned to Thailand in 1995 with a degree in Business Administration - majoring in Economics - and a Master’s degree in Business Administration - majoring in Finance - from  California State University at San Bernardino to take up a position with Nithipat Finance & Securities as an investment consultant supervisor.

She joins 124 Communications in 1997 as an Account executive responsible for Accenture, MFEC, Oracle, and Thai Beverage. She was appointed to the board of directors in 2002 to manage and direct business operations, human resources, and financial planning. She is also serving as a team leader for IPO and IR clients.  Successful deals includes Thitikorn, MFEC, Matching Studio, Khon Kaen Sugar Industry.

She is a member of the Board of Directors and Management Committee.

Thongchai Chansevikul | Chief Strategist

Phongchayut Ladavalya Na Ayudhya |Vice President – Business Development
 
With over 10 years of experience working for two largest logistics service providers, UPS and TT&T where he was Regional Marketing Manager, Phongchayut leads a business development team to create new media business opportunity as  well as providing internal infrastructural support system. Working closely with international media partners, Phongchayut develops, plan, and implement series of strategic communications outreach program supporting government agencies and large business enterprises
 
A native of Chiangmai, Phongchayut went to Montfort High School, then further his study in the US at University of California at San Bernardino where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Operations Research, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Logistics management.
 
He also serves as a lecturer at two leading national professional institutes, NIDA and SASIN on Logistics management.

Inthira Chaion-nom | Executive Director

Indy came to 124 in 1992, after a very successful six-year stint with Thailand"s Prachachart business newspaper as both a reporter for the banking and finance section and later as editor of the social section, leaving her with excellent contacts within the media. In her role at 124, Indy combines managing key IPO accounts including Kasemrad Hospital, G.Steel, Thai Metal Trade, Asia Metal and SNC Formers. In her capacity as an editor, she co-authored the 840 page long Tale of the Two Kingdoms, a limited edition special publication printed in both Thai and English to commemorate the 111th anniversary of EAC (Thailand). All proceeds were donated to the King of Thailand"s Chai Pattana Foundation.

Among many clients she is serving include Ministry of Commerce, Department of Intellectual Property, Thai Beverage, Terragro Fertilizer, Bangkok Mass Transit Railway, Bank of Thailand, etc.

 Indy graduated from Chulalongkorn University Faculty of Arts, where she received a Bachelor degree in Arts (Majoring in English)

She is a member of the Board of Directors and Management Committee.

Elizabeth Wongwasin | Vice President - Public Relations Consultant

During the three-year part-time experience at 124  Communications, Lisa mainly handled Media and Celebrities Relations, which lied  solid background for her when she decided to be part of winning team at 124 Communications  as PR Account Executive.

As a team leader, Lisa handles major clients including MasterCard, Apple, American Standards,  Siam Future Development and Airports  of Thailand. Her previous clients include BMW, Mini,  Golden Land, Prime  Nature Villa – Hua Hin, Kodak, Keppel Land, Veranda Resort, Loewe, Givenchy, DKNY, Dragon Air, Sentosa Resort World, Airports of Thailand, National Telecommunication Commission of Thailand,

An American born Thai, Lisa graduated with first class honor bachelor’s degree, majoring in English from the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Chulalongkorn University. Lisa, a woman of many talents, also  received commendatory awards while attending St. Joseph's Convent and was crowned winner of a singing contest consisting of all schools in Bangkok. Lisa is multilingual, with fluency in Thai, English, French and Cantonese. In addition to that, she has also contributed to the publicizing of Bangkok International Festival of Dance and the stage play Katya and the Prince of Siam.

As Lisa's experience indicates from working with celebrities and her other creative-type clients, Lisa is also highly creative, thinking outside the box, and always culminating in bringing that cutting edge something special and something extra, out of the ordinary.

Watit Prasomsap | Vice President - Public Affairs

Watit joined 124 Communications in 2002 after spending his nine years with Telephone Organization of Thailand as Marketing Communications Manager where he handled marketing communications, advertising and promotion for domestic and interracial market.

He spent his earlier time working with a few leading communications and production companies where he handled event organization, composing corporate jingles, reading radio spots.

 Currently, Watit handles Airports of Thailand, Ministry of Commerce, Leo Logistics, CAT Telecom, Dimet, Department of Fine Arts, and Shower King,  and plays a key consulting role in the public sector.

As anyone familiar with the inner workings of a major Thai state enterprise, especially in the telecom industry will say, “Anyone who has more than a year of successful work in any key position-are true survivors”. Watit went beyond that point and prospered nine years in a very demanding and difficult environment of the TOT. His skills to navigate and chart a Public Policy course for clients are a wealth to be shared and appreciated by the most demanding clients.

Watit graduated with a master’s degree in Political Science from Thammasat University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Chulalongkorn University.
